Method 1

Measure an Existing Ring

This is the easiest way to check your ring size. Choose a ring that fits comfortably on the same finger where you want to wear your new PureCarat ring.

  1. Take a ring that fits you well.
  2. Place it flat on a table.
  3. Use a ruler that measures in millimetres.
  4. Measure the inside width of the ring from one inner edge to the other.
  5. This measurement is called the inner diameter.
  6. Match the diameter with the ring size chart below.

The Paper Method

If you do not have a ring to measure, use a thin paper strip or string to measure your finger circumference at home.

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper or use a piece of string.
  2. Wrap it around the base of your finger.
  3. Make sure it is comfortable, not too tight and not too loose.
  4. Mark the point where the paper overlaps.
  5. Measure the strip with a ruler in millimetres.
  6. Use this measurement as your finger circumference.

Important: Ring size can slightly change during the day because of temperature, water retention, and finger swelling. For the most comfortable fit, measure your finger at normal room temperature and preferably in the evening.

A ring should feel comfortable. It should slide over your knuckle with slight resistance and sit securely on your finger.

If your knuckle is bigger, choose a size that passes over it comfortably.

Cold weather can make fingers smaller, so measure at normal temperature.
